A chalk art tribute by David Day to the events of the War of 1812.Drawn on the pavement in front of the Town Hall, the original size was about 8 ft x 8 ft. Unfortunately - rain is the bain of all sidewalk chalk art and 12 hours later the work itself was "history". David Day has been commissioned to paint a mural as a lasting tribute to the War of 1812 for the Arthur Child Heritage Museum in Gananoque, to be unveiled June 18 at the museum.
