In celebrating the bicentennial of Pride & Prejudice, the Friends of Crysler's Farm have added the Netherfield Country Ball to their annual commemorations of a battle that saved Canada.
Following the evening battle, reenactors, Janeites and English Country dancers are invited to a Regency ball inside Upper Canada Village.
Michel Landry will call, while Rufty Tufty provides live music.
The ball is free to reenactors and guests dressed in period clothing. As space is limited to 140, please RSVP by sending an email (see Phone line in the event details) to be added to the list.
