Monday, June 18, 2012, 6:00 p.m. - Fort Henry, Kingston
Experience a true Georgian banquet in the officers dining rooms at Fort Henry served by soldier servants on the 200th anniversary of the declaration of war by the United States Congress. Three removes will be served "a-la-Francaise," including these typical dishes: oxtail & barley soup, poached perch, roast turkey, braised lamb, orast quail, sliced ham, curried rabbit, forced marrow on rice, savoury mince pie, syllabub, flummery and strawberry trats. Join in toasts to King George and success to British arms and participate in the singing of patriotic songs. Another once-in-a-lifetime experience presented by Jessup Food & Heritage.
